A better place to live

The YMCA offers supportive short-term (transitional) and long-term (permanent) housing in locations throughout Seattle and King County. You must be between 18-24 years old and have experience in foster care or homelessness to qualify.

As a resident you'll work with a YMCA resource specialist to meet your own goals, and pay reduced monthly rent that increases as you become more independent. Come to the Center to get started. The application process includes a housing orientation and two housing readiness classes.  Click here for a full list of Y housing programs.
