Our 2011-2012 Young Adult Services priorities are below:

Ensure young adults are better prepared for adulthood

  1. Increase youth voice, leadership and self-advocacy, using the Ladder of Young People's Participation framework
  2. Increase youth engagement through outreach, group events, and expansion into South King County
  3. Focus on key outcomes (housing, basic self-sufficiency, positive vision of the future) as the foundation for achieving other outcomes

Deepen our community's engagement to support young adult success

  1. Engage new volunteers, businesses and funders to the Y movement
  2. Strengthen relationships with existing partners
